Who we are

What data we collect
- Contact form: name, email address, and message content.
- Orders / webshop: name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number (if provided), order and payment details, and for custom-made products the body measurements and design preferences you give us.
- Newsletter / free guide download: email address (and name, if provided).
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically when you visit our website (see our Cookie Policy).
Why we process your data and our legal basis
- To process and fulfil your order, including production of your custom Keiko gi (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To respond to questions submitted via the contact form (legitimate interest / pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR).
- To send the free guide you requested and, where you opted in, marketing communications (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR - you may withdraw consent at any time).
- To comply with legal obligations, such as bookkeeping and tax law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Who we share your data with
We only share personal data with third parties where necessary to run our business: payment providers (to process your payment), shipping and courier companies (to deliver your order), our website host/platform provider (JouwWeb) and email/marketing tools acting as data processors under a data processing agreement, and authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Where a service provider is located outside the European Economic Area, we ensure an adequate level of protection, for example through EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep your data
We keep order and invoice data for as long as required by Belgian accounting and tax law (in principle 7 years). Contact form messages and marketing data are kept only as long as necessary for the purpose they were collected for, and are deleted or anonymised afterwards.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct inaccurate data, request erasure, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@mykeikogi.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
